Claim assessment process

Claim assessment timeline

The assessment takes 15 business days after the Company has received all required documents.

For a claim that involves damage of more than Baht 30 million and substantial supporting documents to be reviewed, the assessment takes 30 days after the Company has received all required documents.

Notice of claim assessment result

If damage is covered by the insurance policy, a letter of claim assessment result will be prepared and sent to the insured together with an applicable agreement to the insured for signing.
If damage is not covered by the insurance policy, a letter explaining supporting reasons will be prepared.
If damage is covered by the insurance policy, the claim assessment result will be reported within 15 business days after all required documents have been received.

If damage is not covered by the insurance policy, the claim assessment result will be reported within 15 business days the examination is completed, or within 15 business days after all required documents have been received in the case where documents or information of the insured are necessary for proving the causes of damage

Claim payment approval

The claim payment to the insured is made to the insured within 15 days from the date the claim settlement has been finalized and agreed by the Company and the Company has received all required proofs of damage.
